Louis Edward "Ed" Gunn

Louis "Ed" Gunn, 75, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2022, in Houston, Texas. A Memorial Mass and remembrance of his life will be held at 10am on Saturday, December 3rd at St. Jerome's Catholic Church in Waco, TX.

Ed was born on September 1, 1947 in Corpus Christi, TX. He met his wife, Ursula, while serving in the Army in Schweinfurt, Germany. They married in 1968 in California. During their 50 year marriage, they lived in California and Germany before settling in Waco, Texas.
In his spare time, Ed enjoyed spending time outdoors, cooking, and socializing with friends. He was an avid fisherman and knew many of the lakes in Central Texas by heart. He was kind, supportive, and he loved life. He leaves his family and friends with many precious memories.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ursula Gunn; daughter, Tina Gunn; father, Riley Gunn; mother, Ruth Gunn, brother, Jesse Leon Gunn; sister, Patricia Hinz. He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Gunn, of Waco, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center or the American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge.
