Louis Lopez, 66, of Waco, Texas entered into the Kingdom of Heaven on Sunday July 16, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
Louis was born on August 1, 1956 in San Antonio, Texas to Rudolph and Eva (Puente) Lopez, He attended schools in Waco, and graduated from Richfield High School. Louis also attended McLennan Community College and Austin Community college. He enlisted in the U. S. Army, and was stationed in South Korea. After his discharge from the Army, he then moved to Waco, and shared a home with his twin brother. Louis was a good son, brother, and a special uncle to all his nieces and nephews. He had a special passion for all types of music, from Tejano, to Rock and Roll, to Jazz, and a little bit of country. He shared with some of his friends, that he was a distant relative to Little Joe Hernandez.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Eva; sister, Dolores (Dodie) Maciel; brothers, Gilbert Lopez and Johnny Lopez; and brother-in-law, Joe Olvera.
Louis is survived by his loving sisters; Helen Aguilar and husband Robert, and Christine Olvera; brother, Rudolph Lopez, Jr., and wife Alice. Along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
