BIBLIOGRAPHY
Louise was born December 23, 1918, in Waco to August and Cora (Anderson) Vuillemin. She was married November 1, 1940, in Waco to John Louis Callaway.

After he passed away suddenly on October 2, 1960, Louise raised her nine children single-handedly, determined to make sure they all got good educations. She especially made sure her children learned independence and success in their life choices.

Louise managed her household superbly, and was an excellent seamstress and cook.

She was a longtime member of St. Louis Catholic Church. After her children were grown, she volunteered with St. Ann's Circle, Meals on Wheels, and the Methodist Home. She was also a devoted grandmother who dearly loved her grandchildren.
