Louise Sweet

Louise Francis Sweet, 75, of Waco, passed away Saturday morning December 1, 2007 in a local hospital. Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at St. Louis Catholic Church. Burial will follow the service at Waco Memorial Park. The rosary will be Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at 7 p.m. in the OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. and will resume after the rosary until 8 p.m.

Louise was born in Detroit, Michigan to Joseph Dennis Lee and Mary Helen Noonan Lee on May 29, 1932. She married William D. Sweet in Detroit on April 25, 1953.

She is preceded in death by her husband who passed away June 28, 2001. She is also preceded in death by two son-in-laws, Joe Lujan and Daniel Ramirez.

Louise is survived by daughters, Cheryl Sweet of Oklahoma, Donna Melendez Ramirez of Oklahoma, Catherine Ochoa of California, Cynthia Lujan of Waco and Starlyn Garcia of Waco; sons, Larry L. Sweet of Virginia and Bill Sweet of Elm Mott; 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Danny Boy.

Pallbearers will be Chris Sweet, Corey Sweet, Richard Sweet, Bill McGuire, Tom Giebe and Vincent Perez.
