Lucy Andrade

Lucy "Lucia" Loredo Andrade, 78 of Waco, went to be with the Lord Saturday, September 19, 2009.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 23 at First Spanish Assembly of God with the Rev. Guadalupe Rodriguez officiating. Burial will be at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. with a prayer service beginning at 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 22 at First Spanish Assembly of God.

Lucy was born Oct. 31, 1930, in Hubbard, Texas to Blas and Andrea Loredo. Together with her husband, the belated Rev. Leandro Andrade Sr., they served as Senior Pastors of Templo Cristiano Assembly of God from 1988 until their retirement in 2005. Her love for God and willingness to always help those in need influenced countless lives. She was a woman of faith and was loved by all of her family, friends and church members.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, the Rev. Leandro Andrade Sr., sisters, Susie Navarro, Mary Montes, and Nancy Ramirez, brothers, Simon Loredo, Jesus Loredo, Ezekiel Loredo, and Eucebio Loredo, daughter, Caroline Abeyta; and great-grandsons, Jaylon Leandro Andrade and Anthony Tyler Boyd.

Survivors include her children, Eva Soza and husband Rudy, Ruben Andrade Sr., Benito Andrade Sr. and wife Shelly, Claudia Andrade, Leon Andrade Jr. and wife Francis all of Waco, the Rev. Mary Roybal and husband, the Rev. Kerry of Ogden, Utah; beloved grandson and caretaker, the Rev. Ruben Andrade Jr.; 24 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; sisters, Janie Lopez and husband Manuel Sr., Marcel Salas and husband Joe, brothers Juan Loredo and wife Rachel, Emilio Loredo and wife Concha all of Waco, and brother Cervando Loredo of Hillsboro, Oregon; beloved sisters and brother-in-laws; and numerous nephew and nieces.

Pallbearers are Humberto Garcia, David Treviño Sr., Jesus Treviño, Jorge Treviño Sr., Mario Treviño Sr., and Jamie Zuniga,
