Luis "Mr Lewis" Barron, 67, of Mart, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2007 in Waco.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10am Friday at St. Francis Catholic Church with Father Ramon Burgos as celebrant.

Visitation will be Thursday at 6pm followed by the Rosary at 7pm at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Luis had lived on his farm in Mart since 1997 with his wife Guadalupe.

He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Guadalupe of Mart; daughters, Diana Monroy of Frisco, Sandra Villasenor of Las Vegas, Nevada and Connie Barron of Frisco; sons, Luis Barron Jr. of McKinney and Gilbert Barron of Port Isabel, 6 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter; a brother Alex Barron of Comanche; and many additional family members and friends.

In Mart he was known as "Mr Lewis" or "Tio" to the children. Luis was the general handy man in Mart.

He was a "Great Dad" with a big heart and will be greatly missed by family and friends alike.

Pallbearers will be Luis Barron Jr., Gilbert Barron, Alex Villasenor, Joe Monroy, Imad Malik, and Joe Flores Jr.
