Mrs. Lupe (Mama) Delarosa Chavez, 66, of Waco, died Friday, January 17, 2003 at a Waco hospital.

SERVICES
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. at the New Baptist Church at S. 23rd and Connor with Rev. Mateo Gonzalez officiating. Rosary and visitation will be 7-9 pm on Saturday at OakCrest Funeral Home at 4520 Bosque Blvd. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery. A memorial videotape of her life will be shown.

PERSONAL HISTORY
Mrs. Chavez was born December 8, 1936 in Waco to Apolonio and Celia (Garcia) Delarosa. She was a Baptist and a housewife. She was married to Manual Chavez who preceded her in Death.

She was also preceded in death by her father Apolonio Delarosa and brother Frank Delarosa.

SURVIVORS
Survivors include daughters, Celia Gonzalez and husband Octavio of Waco, Rebecca Gonzalez and her husband Rueben, Patricia Rosales and her husband Cruz, and step-daughter, Ottila Chavez of Atlanta, GA; sons, Frank Stout, Larry Stout and wife Cynthia, Gary Stout and wife Gloria, Robert Stout and wife Gloria, Ricky Stout and wife Tynia, Rudy Stout, Mark Stout; step-sons, Manuel Chavez and Carlos Gonzalez of Waco; brother, Joe Delarosa of Waco; 43 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

PALLBEARERS
Pallbearers will be Jason Torres, Ricky Torres, Brandon Stout, Hector Gonzalez, Juan Paloblanco, Rigoberto Baustista, Freddy Clemmons , Greg Rose, Heriberto Balderas, Jr., Jose T. Paloblanco and Amado DeLapaz.
