Madelynn "Maddie" Mata

Madelynn Ciara Mata, 6, of Waco passed away Friday, February 23, 2018 at McLane Children’s Hospital in Temple. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, February 28 at Marantha Church, 1000 Ashleman St. in Bellmead with burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 27 from 6 to 8 pm at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Left behind to cherish Maddie's memory are her loving parents, Jessica and Guillermo Mata; siblings, big brother, Daylan Mata, big sister, Isabella Mata and sister, Lilliana Mata; her grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins who all loved her so much. Her Marantha Church family along with her Rapoport Academy family will miss her big beautiful smile. Maddie made the world a brighter place, she was loved by many and will be deeply missed. She is now resting peacefully in our Father’s hands.
