Magdaleno De Léon, Jr., 62 years old, passed away peacefully on Thursday August 1, 2024, in Waco, Texas.
The Rosary service will be Friday August 9, 2024, at 11:30 am at Oakwood Cemetery. Deacon Tony Rocha with Sacred Heart Catholic Church will be officiating the Rosary. Graveside services will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Arrangements are made by OakCrest Funeral Home.

Magdaleno De Léon, Jr. was born in Waco, Texas at Hillcrest Memorial Hospital to the parents of Lucinda Coronado and Magdaleno De Léon, Sr. on November 3,1962. He went to Axtell High School in Axtell, Texas for his educational career. He graduated from Axtell high School in 1980. He worked as car salesman at Marstaller Motors Inc. for an abundance of years. He then moved forward to many locations of car lots in an array of cities to expand his skills in sales. Magdaleno De Léon, Jr. received many achievements in his career as top salesmen of the month many times as well as salesman of the year. His achievements made him an impeccable salesman. He was also a caring, loving, and supportive father and son to his family as well.

Magdaleno was preceded in death by his mother, Lucinda Coronado; grandparents on his father side, Martin De Léon and Ninfa Rangel; brother, Randy De Léon; uncles, Gregory De Léon and Herman De Léon; and aunt, Margaret Pena alongside with her husband, Tony Pena.

Magdeleno is survived by his father, Magdaleno De Léon, Sr.; his two children, Lorena De Léon and Luis De Léon; youngest brother, Michael De Léon; aunt and uncle, Lucy and Arthur Rivas; aunt and uncle, Josie and Johnny Amaro; and cousins, Cristina Amaro, Kristy De Léon Bridger, Stevie Pena Sheffield, and Elizabeth Scheifley.

The family of Magdaleno De Léon, Jr. wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all the doctors and nurses at Baylor Scott & White ICU/ ER team for the excellent care they gave to our beloved Magdaleno. He was given the upmost respect while in their hands and they gave our family thorough explanations of his care plans throughout his hospital stays.
