Margaret LuRee Fall
July 17, 1924 - September 11, 2011
Margaret LuRee, affectionately known as "Mugs", (Johnson) Fall passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by family.
Graveside services will be at Wednesday, September 14, 1:00 p. m at Oakwood Cemetery with Father John Wells officiating.
Margaret was born July 17, 1924 to James William and Effie Madeline Johnson in Waco, Tx. She was a homemaker for many years and was an avid bridge player, being the City of Waco Champion for several years. She was also a life-long enthusiastic reader, always knowledgeable on current events. She was working at Reed's Florist, when she met the love of her life, W. W. "Bill" Fall, Jr. They married Nov. 9, 1963 and had a wonderful life together, traveling extensively. They owned Waco Marble & Granite Works until their retirement. She was a loving wife, mother, friend, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 31 years, Lieutenant Commander William W. Fall, Jr., US Navy (Retired) in 1994.
Survivors include daughters, Susi and husband Steve Canuteson of Waco, Kathy Fall Pitcher and husband Jack of Waco, 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit or Providence Hospice.
A special thank you to Rev. and Mrs. John T. Wells, the wonderful staff at Senior Care Center at Hewitt, and Providence Hospice, who provided such special care for Margaret; they were especially caring and provided such excellent care, beyond their normal job duties.
