Margot Vaughn, 86, of Waco, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2005.
Friends are invited to attend a celebration of her life at the family home at 3836 Cobbs Drive in Waco on Saturday, April 9, at 4:30 p.m.
She was born August 12, 1918, in Berlin, Germany, and moved to America in the 1950s. She later married Robert Vaughn, was widowed in 1978, and never remarried.
Affectionately known as "The Cat Lady," Margot was known to be a devoted animal activist and would often walk many miles every day to feed the local homeless dogs and cats in Waco.
She is survived by her step-children, Sharron Henson, Brent Vaughn, and Randy Vaughn; her step grandchildren, John Stewart, Ryan Vaughn, and Melinda King, and by her five great grandchildren, Chastity Stewart, Sarah Stewart, Bryson Vaughn, Emily Vaughn and Miradna King.
