Margurite Presley

Margurite Presley, 87, of Lacy Lakeview, went to her heavenly home October 13, 2009 with her loving husband and daughter by her side. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

A funeral will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2009 at the OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Larry Holder officiating. A visitation will be held beginning at 1:00 p.m. prior to the funeral. A memorial video
honoring her life will be shown during the visitation.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Ferguson, a son, Robert and a grandson, James.

She is survived by her husband of almost 20 years, Al Presley; daughter,
Darlene Jones, both of Lacy Lakeview; sons, Tom Ferguson and wife Frances of Humble and Jesse Ferguson and wife Cathy of Centerville; stepdaughters, Angie Miller and husband Mike of Georgia , Ana Marie and Jackie, both of North Carolina; sixteen grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 24 great great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by a sister, Joyce Woodall of Amarillo; brothers, Lawrence Walker of Tucumcari, N.M., Jake Walker and wife Doris of Amarillo; numerous sisters-in-law and brothers in law, and extended family,
Dana Johnson, James (BO) Galloway, and Brandy Amador.

Margurite loved all her friends here and away. She always had a big smile for all. She worked in a nursing home for 18 years and also worked in home health care. She was thankful of her health care workers and doctors at West Rest Haven, and at her home with Hillcrest Hospice. Special thanks to Kirk Stokes, Debra Witt, Virginia Ramirez and all the others who took care of her. A special thanks to Chaplain Larry Holder. She will be missed by her family, neighbors, friends and everyone who knew her.
