Maria Duron Christian, 79, passed away Saturday May 11, 2013 at the Medical Center of Arlington. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday May, 17 at St Francis Catholic Church by Deacon Jesse Garza. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.. Rosary will be 6 p.m. Thursday May 16, at OakCrest Funeral Home.
Maria was born Sept. 10, 1934 in Waco, to Fabian and Julia Barrera Duron. She has resided in Grand Prairie for the past several years.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Maria is survived by her mother Julia Duron of Grand Prairie, three brothers: Alex Duron of Grand Prairie, Tony Duron and wife Mary of Dallas, Louis Duron of Grand Prairie, sister: Helen Hurtado of Waco, and numerous neices and nephews.
