Maria Helena “Marlene” Carrigan, 77, of Waco, passed away Friday, December 15, 2023.
She was born on September 7, 1946 in Germany to William Barnett and Margot Satzger Barnett. At the age of 7 years old, her family moved to the states.
Marlene married Monty Carrigan on June 14, 1986.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Margot Barnett and her best friend, Judy Womack. Survivors include her husband, Monty Carrigan; daughter, Teresa Howard; granddaughter, Paige Howard; great grandson, Sylas Ringo; best friend, Connie Nye, all of Waco, TX; and most importantly her dog Maggie who she referred to as “Sweetie of the House”.
Marlene's pride and joy was her 7 month old great grandson, Sylas. She loved to play golf, enjoyed cross stitching, reading, and playing Yahtzee.
