Maria Morales

Maria Recio Morales, 88, of Waco, went home to be with our Lord Wednesday.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Lawrence Solar officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Friday at OakCrest Funeral Home with Rosary at 7 p.m. A memorial video honoring her life will be shown during visitation.

Maria was born in Paintrock to Cecilo and Emila (Rodriquez) Recio. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers; sisters, and two daughters, Lillie Morales Beccera and Gloria Morales.

Survivors include six sons, Raymond Morales and wife, Kathy of Copperas Cove, Robert Morales and wife, Stella of Austin, Richard Morales and wife, Joleen of North Carolina; Roy Morales and wife, Connie of Austin; Rudy Morales and wife, Esther of Waco, and Ruben Morales of Waco; two daughters, Ninfa Garcia and husband, Edward of Waco and Ms. Sally Rosas Compian of Waco; 23 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Joe Rosas, Peter Romanenko, Roman Morales, Joshua Morales, Robert Morales Jr., Anthony Morales, Anthony Morales, Frank Rosas, Marcus Morales, Raymond Morales Jr., Christopher Morales, and Jimmy Avera.

The family expresses deepest appreciation to Ridgecrest Nursing Home and Providence Hospice for their kindness and affection towards our loved one.
