Mariano C. Saldivar, 57, of West, died Wednesday, April 17, 2013 in the explosion at West. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 23, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church of the Assumption, 301 S. Harrison, West, with the Rev. Ed Karasek officiating.
Burial will be later in Portland, Ore.
Rosary and Visitation will be 7 – 9 p.m., Tuesday, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Boulevard, Waco.
Mr. Saldivar was born May 24, 1955 in Mexico, and later moved to California where he worked in the warehousing industry. He retired five years ago, and moved to West to be near his family. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church of the Assumption in West.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra; three sons, Saul, Mario, and Adan; a daughter, Mariana; three brothers, Alfonso, Miguel, and Gabriel; and nine sisters, Martha, Esther, Alicia, Eva, Estrelia, Graciela, Hila, Belen and Maria Elena.
