Marie Johnson
Marie Powell Johnson, 83, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2005, at her residence. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Southside Church of Christ, with John Rainey officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Viewing will be from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Marie was born November 25, 1921, in Chilton, the daughter of Robert and Mabel Powell. She married Samuel S. Johnson, who preceded her in death in 1993. She was a member of Southside Church of Christ.
She is survived by two sons, Barry Johnson and wife, Pat, of Waco, and Charles Johnson of Cameron; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
