Marie (Mary) Monrial

Marie (Mary) P. Monrial age 68 passed away to be with the Lord on Friday August 14, 2020. Mary was born in Waco, Texas on March 2, 1952. Services will be at 11 am Friday Aug 21 at Family of Faith Worship Center, with Pastor Ruben Andrade, officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday Aug 20 at 6:00pm and prayer service at 7:00 pm. Services will also be streamed online.
Mary’s greatest joy was her family and loved taking family vacations her favorite place to visit was the beach. Mary was also very happy to carry on her mother’s tamale recipe and was able to teach her daughters before she passed. Mary also loved to listen to Christian music and worship the Lord, her faith was strong and she always encouraged her family to pray.
She is preceded in death by her; mother Mary (Contreras), step father Frank Hixson, and ex-husband, but life-long friend Gregorio (George) Monrial.
Mary is survived by her son Gregorio Monrial, Jr. and wife Andrea; daughters, Rachel and husband Miguel Jimenez, Teresa and husband Frank Jimenez; sisters Patsy Vela, Rosie and husband Jessie Perez and brother Billy Hixson and wife Shelia. Grandchildren; Cindy Monrial, Oscar, Olivia, Ophelia, Samantha, and Frank Jimenez; Michael, Marcus, Marissa Jimenez and Janette Gonzales, Vyctoriah, Gia, Pili, Eli Monrial and Nick and Zach Maddox; great grandchildren, Makenzie Jimenez, Eric Williams III, Evalyn Alvarez, Lexi, Lilah and Leah Rosillo, and Sofia Jimenez.
Pallbearers will be Miguel Jimenez, Frank Jimenez, Michael Jimenez, Marcus Jimenez, Oscar Jimenez, Christopher Arechigo, Anthony Vela, Frankie Perez.
Honorary Pallbearers are; Robert Valdez, Frank Jimenez and Zach Maddox.
