Marie Rosser Norman was born on November 10, 1943 to Annie Frances (Wilhite) Rosser and Warren Rosser in Waco, Texas.

She spent her childhood here in Waco, "big sister" to Ronald and Rodney Rosser. Following graduation from Waco High School in 1962, she moved in with her two best friends and worked as a car hop at Kim's.

One evening, she and her friends decided to go cruising on Austin Avenue and they went over to ask the "boy next door" to help fix their car.

As luck would have it, she found more than she was looking for: her future husband of forty-five years, John R Norman Jr!

Marie was a housewife for most of her married life although she worked briefly at Cox's department store and spent several years as a bookkeeper at Brazos Feed and Supply.

Her interests included a love of all history, genealogy, geology and was above all, an avid reader.

Marie and John have three children, John R. Norman III, Melissa Norman and Mischa Felan.

In addition to that, they have five grandchildren that she dearly loved, Jake and Claudia Norman, lane McLeod and Amelia and Joshua Felan.

Marie will be remembered by all who knew her as kind, loving and generous, and created numerous wonderful memories for her family and friends to cherish.

Marie was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife. aunt, mother, friend and grandma, was loved by all, and will be deeply missed.
