Marion Wehring Cobbs, 66, of Woodway, passed away early Thursday morning in a Woodway nursing facility.
SERVICES
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the new sanctuary of Parkview Baptist Church located at 1100 E. Lakeshore Drive in Waco. John Collier, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will follow in McGregor Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque.
PERSONAL LIFE
Marion was born on August 25, 1936, in McGregor, the daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Melinda (Lippe) Wehring. She was a devoted homemaker who was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a faithful member of Parkview Baptist Church.
SURVIVORS
Her survivors include a son, Jimmy Cobbs and his wife Vickie of Waco; two daughters, Sharon Franks and her husband Andy of Waco, and Annette Robinson and her husband John of Penelope; sister, Ethelene Potes and her husband John of Mechanicsville, Va.; seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Zachary Bowen, on February 10, 2001.
