Marion Koerth Herring, 85, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Royal Manor Health Center.

Services will be 3 p.m. Thursday, April 28, at OakCrest Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Marion was born in Falls County to Willie and Ara Zadie (Maracle) Koerth, and was a homemaker. Marion married Roy Lee Herring on November 24, 1948 in Waco. She was a member of Grace Temple Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister-in-law, and two nieces.

Marion is survived by her daughter, Karen Quinn and husband, Frank of Coleman; brother, Gary Koerth and wife, Ann of Waco, Mike Koerth and L.D. Koerth, both of Golinda; sisters, Rosemary Clemmons and husband, Guy of Rosenthal, and Patsy Ostrom and husband, Don of China Spring; granddaughter, Angela Gross and husband, Andrew of Tigard, Ore.; grandson, Tim Taylor and wife, Laura of Waco; and four great grandchildren, Audrey and Aaron Gross and Zadie and Zyndi Taylor.

The family thanks Bluebonnet Hospice and the staff of Royal Manor Health Center for their care with a special thanks to Lea and Patricia.
