Born on December 11, 1951 to G. E. Middleton and Hazel Marjorie Newsom in Temple, TX, Marjorie grew up in Mart, Prairie Hill, and Coolidge before her family settled in South Waco.
Marjorie married Donald Williams in the spring of 1971 and eventually had two sons, Micah and Daniel.
In 1989, Marjorie received a degree in the mental health field and began a career at the Methodist Children’s Home that spanned two-and-a-half decades, before she finally retired in 2015.
Marjorie was an avid gardener and loved to spend time in the yard watering her plants and on the porch with Donald, enjoying the sounds of birds over a cup of coffee.
She was devoted to her family and the friends she made at work, at her church, and at the YMCA. She made a deep and lasting impression on those that knew and loved her.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brother, Derrell Elkins.
She is survived by her sons, Micah Williams and wife Amanda of Waco; and Daniel Williams and wife Patricia of Omaha, NE; her brother Gary Middleton of Waco; granddaughter, Megan Williams of Waco; and grandsons, Dylan Williams of Flagstaff, AZ; Nolan and Kellan Williams of Omaha, NE, as well as several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
