Mark T. Beyer, 47, of Waco, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque. Dr. Scott Walker will officiate, assisted by George W. Marshall III.
Mark was born July 21, 1960 in Waco to Harry H. and Joyce (Burns) Beyer. He graduated from Richfield High School, Class of 1978. He was a plumbing supply salesman until he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1995. He handled his disabilities with dignity and no complaints. He was a Christian and a Baptist. He was a devoted son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, all of whom found him as loving and caring person. His loved his 1969 Camero and rock n' roll music.
He is survived by his parents, Harry and Joyce Beyer; daughter, Amanda Beyer of Waco; grandson, Dylan Dunn of Waco; two sisters, Denise Marshall and husband, Kenneth of Spring, and Terri Boyd, husband, Gary, their son, Graham, of Grand Prairie; special friends, John and Cindy McBurnett of Waco, and his loving aunt, uncles, and cousins.
The family especially thanks caregivers Tammy Cline and Michael Heaton of Waco; neighbors Will Morris and Wayne Darden; and the Burn Center at Parkland Hospital for their wonderful care.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to John Sealy Hospital in Galveston or the First Baptist Church of Waco Benevolent Fund.
