Mark Davis Elvey was born April 19, 1950, in Beaumont, Texas to Richard and Lois (Davis) Elvey.
He was a retired US Mail Carrier and an Army veteran.
He passed away Saturday afternoon, January 10, 2004, at Providence Hospital in Waco.

Daughter: Rachel Braendel of Kenner, La.
Brother: William Miles Elvey of Blacksburg, Va
Sister: Martha Elvey of Austin
Grandchildren: Lily Elvey and Gavin Braendel
Uncle - Barney Davis
Aunt - Beatrice Elvey

Graveside services will be at held later at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.
Family and friends will have a gathering Friday, January 16, 2004, from 6 to 8 p.m. at MC's Bar on 25th Street.
