Marsha Elaine Daughtry

Marsha Elaine Daughtry, age 72, of Waco, passed away on August 19, 2024 at her residence. A graveside service is scheduled for 9 A.M., Wednesday, August 28 at Waco Memorial Park with Dr. Craig Klempnauer officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M., Tuesday, August 27 at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd. Waco, Texas.

She was born to Joe and Ida Starnes in Memphis, Texas. As a young child, Marsha moved to Waco with her family. She graduated Waco High School in 1970. After high school, she attended TSTI where she received her certificate as a C.N.A. Throughout her career, she worked for several different organizations, but worked consistently with Visiting Angels in Waco. Marsha retired from healthcare in 2014. She was an avid gardener and crafter. Marsha primarily enjoyed the company of her beloved family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Ida Starnes, and sister, Beverly Russell.

She is survived by her loving her husband, Mike; children, Steve and Phillip (Amanda); sisters, Pam Laine, Kimberly Starnes, and Nancy Glasscock (Greg); brother, Bobby Starnes; and grandchildren, Kamryn, Brandon, Major, Jeremiah and Adam.
