Martha Meyers

Martha Faye Meyers, 83, of Eddy, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2003, in a local nursing facility.

Graveside services will be at 2:15 p.m. Thursday at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.

Visitation with the family will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque. A memorial video of her life will be shown continuously during visitation.

She was born Feb. 1, 1920, to Jacob and Nattia (Mays) Stevenson. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Meyers, Sr. in 1994 and son, Tommy Meyers in 1977.

She is survived by two sons, Allen Meyers and wife Carol of Edgewood, NM, and Carl Meyers, Jr. and wife Elaine of Garland; daughters, Opal Behuniak of Eddy, Ruby O'Berg and husband Howard of San Antonio; Elaine Ware of Cisco, Geraldine Huber and husband Melvin of Eddy, Patsy Perkins and husband Lee Roy of Kiefer, OK., Martha Hope and husband Wayne of Waco, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
