Marvin Pundt
Marvin E. (Buster) Pundt, 83, of China Spring, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2005, at his residence.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at the OakCrest Funeral Home with the Rev. Juneroy Nugent, pastor of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Waco, officiating.
Burial will be in Rosemound Cemetery in Waco.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd. A memorial video honoring his life will be shown during the visitation.
HIS LIFE
Mr. Pundt was born February 16, 1922 in Waco to Peter and Mary (Luedke) Pundt. He married Goldie Mae Dudley, who preceded him in death in 2001.
He served in the Army during World War II, and has been a farmer and rancher at the same ranch since 1934.
He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Waco and served as an elder in the church for many years. He was an avid fisherman.
HIS FAMILY
He enjoyed being with his family and has many precious times with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a caring neighbor to all of the surrounding ranchers over the many years.
SURVIVORS
He is survived by:
Two sons, Dr. Wayne Pundt and wife, Mary Ellen of Killeen, and Ron Pundt and wife, Cindy of Gatesville;
Daughter, Kathie Kimbrough and husband, Bobby of China Spring;
Grandchildren, Dr. Gary Pundt of Killeen, Dr. Heather Pundt of Killeen, Deanna Rodriguez and husband, Art of China Spring, Carrie Crawford and husband, Lucas of San Marcos, Dr. Che Gwin and wife, Cari of Miami, Fla., Craig Pundt of China Spring, and Elizabeth Pundt of Gatesville;
Great-granddaughter, Madison Gwin, and
Two great-grandsons, Christopher and Michael Rodriguez;
Brother, William "Bill" Pundt and wife, Grace of China Spring; and
Many friends and neighbors.
The family wishes to thank Providence Hospice and Melissa Prestidge and Linda Whited for their wonderful care during his illness.
