Mary Catherine Baird, 92, of China Spring, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2012. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Mike Copeland officiating. Visitation will be 5 - 7 p.m. Friday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Boulevard.
Mary was born in Waco to Arthur J. and Minnie Pearl (Ford) Jewell. For 42 years, she was employed by Behrens, Inc. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of China Spring.
She was preceded in death by parents; her sister, Minnie Lee Franklin; and her husband, Jack F. Baird, in 1982.
She is survived by her brother, A.J. Jewell of Waco; nieces and nephews, Andy and Pam, Linda and Lupe, Jay and Amy, Brenda and Linde, Tommy and Debbie, Martha and Bob; and many close friends.
