Mary Deskins

Mary Frances Deskins, 86 of Waco passed away on Friday, June 27, 2014. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Monday, June 30 at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00pm Sunday at OakCrest Funeral Home 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Mary was born on July 21, 1927 in Valley Mills, Texas to John and Carmelia (McRae) Mitchell. She was married to Allen Deskins. Mary was known as Blondie to family and friends. She was a woman who represented her character well. Mary had many friends and was very loved by all of her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen and daughter Kay Jackson.

Mary is survived by her daughter: Sharon Parsons and husband Andy, Sons: Michael Deskins, Mitchell Deskins and wife Laural, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
