Funeral services will be held at Oakcrest Funeral Home, Waco, TX, on Saturday December 8, 2007 at 3:30pm, with burial at Oakwood Cemetery, Waco, TX.

She was born the second of four children to Robert and Vashti Bowen on May 26, 1918, in Galveston, Texas.

When she married Charles Frazier in 1938, they began a lifetime of Christian ministry that continued to the very end of each of their lives.

In 1947, they moved their family to Waco, TX, and opened an electronics business.

Mary took her children to nursing homes and neighborhoods across Waco to visit the sick, the lonely and forgotten, the broken hearted. She sent them bearing plates of home-baked gifts to warm hearts and fill often-empty bellies.

She provided clothes and toys, rides to the grocery, the doctor, church and school, for families in need, teaching her children to care about the needs of others.

Her convictions were never compromised, her faith never wavered.

She filled her home with family, friends, happiness, laughter, security, faith in God and unconditional love. She was never too busy to listen. Her children learned God's Word at her knee, and His love through her actions.

Memories of her beautiful laughter and incredible love will live in her children's and friends' hearts forever.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles Frazier; brothers Bill and Al Bowen Sr; sister Martha Webster.

She is survived by daughters Janys Stubbs, and Laura Barrett and son-in-law Jack Barrett of Waco, TX; son Charles 'Chuck' Frazier and daughter-in-law Kathy Frazier of Dallas, TX; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
