April 13, 1928 – February 6, 2013

Mary Frances Harris, 84, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2013. Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Grace Temple Baptist Church with Dr. Paul Stripling and Rev. Craig Klempnaur officiating. Burial will follow in Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Friday, February 8 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at OakCrest Funeral Home.

Frances was born April 13, 1928 in Clifton, to Herbert and Lila Reese. She married W.C. McFadden and he died in 1974. She later married John Harris and he died in August 2001.

Frances was a dedicated Christian lady who loved her church dearly. Gigi, as she was known to her family, was a church organist, on board of trustees at Latham Spring Baptist Camp, and a very proud member of the Baylor Singing Senior Choir.

Frances is survived by her children, Shirley Wheeler and husband, Tommy and Larry McFadden and wife, Jackie; two step-daughters; Delmar and husband, Trey Gerdes and Jeanette Eicher; three step-sons; John Harris Jr., Rodney and wife, Carma and Jay and wife, Janet; grandchildren; Jerry Wheeler, Ben, Billy, Rebekah McFadden, Jennifer Bryant, Amanda Barker, Alana Smith, Jenny, Hank, and Stanley Gerdes and Mindy, Zachary, Hillary, Josh and Mary Kate Harris; great- grandchildren; Madison and Kaitlin Wheeler and Kyle and Cambrie Bryant.

Memorials for Frances may be made to Grace Temple Baptist Church or Latham Springs Baptist Camp.
