Mary Louise Davis Lewis, 52 of Eddy, lost her battle with cancer and went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2006.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Eddy First Methodist Church, on Highway 107 in Eddy, with the Rev. Joel M. Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in the Eddy Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd. A memorial video honoring her life will be shown during the visiation. OakCrest Funeral Home is located right across the street from the Heart of Texas Fair Grounds on Bosque.

Mary was born on Oct. 11, 1953 to Levi and Ella Davis. Mary was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was especially proud of her grandchildren, Marshall and Kacy Ray. She was an accountant for King Industries.

She will always be remembered for her kindness and quick wit, and she was a proud Texas Ex. ... Hook 'Em Horns!

She leaves behind her husband, Braxton Lewis; son, Jerrell and wife, Lisa Kay; daughters, Scarlett and husband, Trevor, and daughter, Marilyn; siblings, Alfred Davis and wife, Connie, Alvin Davis, Jimmy Davis and wife, Kim, Tommie Davis, Chester Davis and wife, Tobi, and Jack Dawson and wife, Stacy; beloved sister, Nancy Alexander and husband, Tommie, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pallbearers will be her brothers. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Brown and Neil Maedgen.

Memorials may be made to the Mooreville Methodist Church, 206 FM 2643, Mooreville, TX 76524.
