Nelda Marsh, 95, of Waco, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2013 in Waco. The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at OakCrest Funeral Home with Pastor Bert Mercer officiating. Burial will follow at Valley Mills Cemetery. Visitation with Nelda’s family will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Nelda was born August 9, 1918 in Spring Valley to Charlie Harvie and Belle Flanagan Tindell. She graduated from Lorena High School and was a charter member of Woodway First United Methodist Church. Nelda was married to William Delma Marsh on December 23, 1940 in Hewitt.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William in August of 2008; her parents; seven brothers, Lenoard, Frank, Truman, twins Odell and Parnell, Charles Jr. and William Tindell; two sisters, Mabel Tindell Ruff and Nelda’s twin, Nannie Neola Tindell Shook; and her great grandson, Colby Wilmoth.

Nelda is survived by her daughter, Nancy D. Marsh Foster and husband, Charles of Franklin, Tennessee; sons, William D. Marsh Jr. and wife, Barbara of Woodway and Mark Marsh and wife, Wanda Jean of Tuscola, Texas; sister –in-law, Mildred Reinhardt of Georgetown; brother-in-law, Donald Marsh and wife, Jeanette of Vernon, Texas; eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
