Mary was born on June 15, 1934 in West, TX to James “Jimmie” Lee Kirkpatrick and Molly Irene “Kyle” Kirkpatrick. Mary Frances “Kirkpatrick” Neese brought excitement and joy to the life of our family as well as everyone she came in contact with. As time passed by Mary attended several elementary schools, East Jr. High and graduated from Waco High School in 1953. Mary spent her childhood and teen years very active in the Salvation Army as a member of the Sunday School, Church and music programs. She became a very proficient cornetist in the church band. Prior to her marriage to Harry Neese, she managed sub-stations for a local dry cleaner for many years.
After Mary and her husband retired from their thriving decades of home building, they managed several rental properties in the Waco area. She accompanied Harry to many classic car rallies both locally and across the country as she supported the classic car enthusiast in the family, the man she loved. They had 50 beautiful years of marriage that was an example of true love, longevity and mutual giving.
