Mary was born September 29, 1945, in Waco to John Edward and Mary Grace (Hastings) Greaves. She was a dedicated homemaker who took loving care of her family.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Lora Diane Bell.
Mary was a beautiful woman who graced us with her presence. She 'marched to the beat of a different drummer,' enjoying life, her family, her friends, and the Rolling Stones. She carried herself with strength and dignity, allowing those around her to discover that love, humor, kindness, patience, uniqueness, soft quiet and loud laughter are what helps create a quality human being.
Surviving Mary are her husband, William D. Peevey of Waco; two daughters, Mary A. Bell of Waco and Rita Bell-Kincannon of Waco; a sister, Barbara Bradshaw and husband Johnnie of Waco; and a lifelong friend, Keith Bell of Waco.
Pallbearers will be Terry Stallard, Johnny Bradshaw, Robert Singer, Richard Childers, Bob Butler, and John Beaty.
