Mary Prather

Mary Louise Prather, 74, of Waco went home to the arms of our Lord on Tuesday, October 7, 2003 at 8:15 P.M. at a local hospital after a brief illness. The family conducted a private memorial service. OakCrest Funeral Home handled arrangements.
Mary was born September 19, 1929 in Dallas to Robert and Deola (Taylor) Wheeler. She was united in marriage to Joseph T. Abraham, who preceded her in death in 1976. She later married Roy E. Prather, who preceded her in death in 1979.
Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. The family especially thanks the ICU staff at the Providence Hospital for going beyond the call of duty during her treatment.
She is survived by daughters, Patsy Ann Piech and husband Joseph of Houston, Sara Elizabeth Brinkley of Bamberg, Germany; Sons, Mike Abraham and wife Barbara of Waco, David Abraham and wife Vicki of Midland, Andy Abraham and wife LeAnn of Fort Worth; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
