Melanie Felton, 60, of Waco, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2014. Service will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2014 at the Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Fr. Isadore Rozycki officiating. Rosary will be 6 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2014 at OakCrest Funeral Home 4520 Bosque Blvd. Family request Spring like attire.

Melanie Felton was born May 18. 1953 in Waco,Texas to Anna Pearl and Walter Felton. She loved to sew and tend the garden around the house. Melanie also adored children, especially her many nieces and nephews. She was known as "The Fun Aunt" and you never knew what craziness you would get into over at Aunt Melanie's house. Melanie was deeply loved by all for her outlandish humor, which will stay with us for a long time.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Mark and Perry Felton who will greet her when she arrives at Heaven's Gates.

She is survived by her daughter, Cristi McGowan; sons, Craig and Keeth Uptmor; grandchildren, Kinsey, Steel, Hunter, and Oliver; daughter-in-law, Carissima Uptmor; son-in-law, Chris McGowan; sisters, Sue Payne and Wray Hurst; brothers, Scott Felton, Thomas Felton, Mike Felton, and Bob Felton; who all send their prayers.
