OBITUARY

Mike Bacerra, 38, of Waco went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday March 8, 2005 at a Temple Hospital.

Mass of Christian burial will be 11am Friday at St. Francis Catholic Church. Visitation will be 6pm Thursday followed by the Rosary at 7pm at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

He was born on August 8, 1966 in Waco to Alfred and Mary Alice (Romo) Becerra. Mike had spent the last fifteen years with the love of his life, his wife Erica. He was a faithful and devoted husband to her. Later he was blessed with three beautiful children. Mike was an avid fisherman and hunter and had the best sense of humor. He will be missed very much by all that knew and deeply loved him. He fought bravely and left this world with the same grace and dignity with which he met all the challenges of this life.

Daddy, thank you for all you did, not only for us your family, but for the love, compassion, and the devotion you shared with so many others. We will honor and cherish your memory and take your many loving lessons with us throughout our lifetimes. We thank you and you will live in our hearts forever.

Mike was preceded in death his cousins, whom he joins now in God's Glorious Kingdom.

He is survived by his wife Erica; sons, Marty and Eric J. Bacerra; daughter, Reyna Bacerra all of Waco; His mother, Mary Alice and step-father Ernest Ordonec of Waco; father, Alfred Becerra of Waco; brother Anthony Becerra of Waco; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
