Michael Angelo Garcia Sr., 37, of Waco unexpectedly left our lives October 7, 2011 to meet his precious mother, Olga Serrato Garcia, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Antioch Community Church with Pastor Vincent Carpenter officiating, assisted by Jason Ramos.
Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. A Prayer Service will be 7 p.m. Monday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd., followed by visitation.
Michael was born in Waco to Danny and Olga Garcia. Michael most enjoyed spending time with his children, coaching little league sports, and barbecuing for his family. He always extended a helping hand to anyone need. He had a big heart and enjoyed his family with a big smile.
Michael was preceded in death by his loving mother, Olga Serrato Garcia; sister, Deanna Garcia; grandparents, Willie and Ophelia Serrato, Sr.; and grandmother, Antonia G. Garcia;
Michael leaves behind his wife, Lori Carreon Garcia; sons, David Adrian, Michael Angelo Jr., Jacob Christian; and daughter, DeAnna Marie "Baby Girl", father, Danny Garcia and wife, Helen; Danielle "sister"; and brother Ronnie; many Uncles and Aunts; numerous cousins, and in-laws.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Vaughan, Chris, Guillermo, Joe, Eric, and Greg Serrato.
Honorary pallbearers will be Michael, Eric, Adam, and Henry Carreon and Joe Jimenez, and Jessie Garcia.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an education fund for his children at Wells Fargo Bank, 300 Franklin Avenue, Waco, TX 76701
