Michael Knight

Michael Leslie Jason Knight, 46, of Waco, passed away Friday, January 22, 2016 at a local hospital. A memorial visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 28 at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Jason was born February 7, 1969 in Waco, Texas to parents Marilyn Jo Banta and Michael Gene Knight. He attended Texas State Technical College. Jason was a licensed ham radio operator and had many amateur radio operator friends in the Waco and surrounding areas. He loved music and enjoyed playing drums and singing karaoke. Jason enjoyed riding his Harley and had friends who shared the same passion as far away as Seattle. Jason was also an avid computer gamer.

Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his father, Michael Knight and wife, Brenda, of Woodway; his mother, Marilyn Urban and husband, Billy, of Mesquite; and siblings, Brandon Knight and wife, Andrea, Joe Zotter and Dorie Fugate.
