Michael Martin

Michael L. Martin, 48 of Woodway died Wednesday September 10, 2003 at a local hospital.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 13, at the Oakwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Michael was born on January 9, 1955 in San Diego, California to George L. and Beverly (White) Martin. He was loved by his family and friends for his sense of humor and unselfish ways. Michael was a devoted son, father, brother and uncle.

He enjoyed woodworking as a hobby and was skilled in the art of Intarsia. He was most recently employed at HEB in Woodway.

Special thanks to his friends and co-workers at HEB and the doctors and nurses at Providence Health Center.

He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Martin of Houston; son, Douglas Martin of Woodway; sister, Laura Martin Dunn of Crawford; mother, Beverly Martin of Woodway; brother-in-law, Tony Dunn of Crawford; niece, Kendall Dunn and nephews, Andrew and Garrett Dunn all of Crawford.

He was preceded in death by his father George L. Martin.
