OBITUARY

Michael McMahen, 50, of Waco, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2005. A service celebrating his life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 10, at Richfield Christian Church, 4201 Cobbs, with Pastor David E. Story officiating. Visitation with the family will follow in the Fellowship Hall.
Michael was born October 29, 1954 in Pottsboro, to Billie B. and Lillian (Medlock) McMahen. He was married on October 19, 1973 to his high school sweetheart, Michelle Austin, and was a telecommunications engineer with Vectren Communications.
He will be lovingly remembered as a devoted husband and father, a faithful friend, a soulful guitar player with a passion for music, and a man with an infectious laugh and wonderful sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother, James.
Michael leaves behind his wife, Michelle; daughter, Kristina Collins and husband, Heath; his father and step-mother, Billie and Maggie McMahen; brothers, Buddy, Ronald, David, and Charlie; sisters, Sylvia, Karen, and Sherry; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
