Michael Ross McPhalen, 27, of Waco, passed away Sunday. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at OakCrest Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Whatley officiating.

Burial will be in Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque. A memorial video of his life will be shared during the visitation.

He was born in Waco and lived here all his life. In 1998, he met his wife Shere Page, and they were married in 2001. Michael was a very loving father and husband, and he will always be loved and missed by his family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Drake, and his in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Page.

Michael was survived by his wife, Shere; children, Allyssa, Jason and Halie; mother, Shirley McPhalen; sister, Michelle Laramore and husband, John; brother, Robert McPhalen, and a nephew, Xander Laramore.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Curry, Brian Stone, Adam Scott, John Westberry, Jeff Newton, and Donnie Ontiveras. Honorary pallbearers will be Steven Page and John Laramore.
