Michael Fay (Mike) Teague, 57, of Waco, formerly from Victoria, died Sunday, Oct. 29, at his residence.
The family will receive friends from 2 - 5 p.m. Wednesday at the home, 1405 Guthrie. Burial will be later in the Kosse Cemetery in Kosse, Texas.
Mike was born December 13, 1948 to Fay and Flo Teague. He graduated from Victoria High School in 1967. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps in 1969.
He was a D.A.V. and a loving father and "Grandpa" whose job experiences included equipment operator for TexDOT in Victoria, route sales for Hartman Dist. Co., and automotive painting in Waco after attending T.S.T.C.
His hobbies included classic cars, baseball, classic rock music, Texas Longhorns, and the Dallas Cowboys. Mike's church of choice was Presbyterian.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his son, Shane Michael Teague and wife, Kristen, and their son, Landon Michael Teague; sister, Dianne Joyner and husband, Robert; nephew, Jeffrey Joyner and wife, Denise Ward Joyner; and niece, Lori Collins and her children, Trey Fuentes, John Collins, and Kelsey Collins.
Honorary pallbearers will be Alan Butler, Roger Bartha, Kay Martin, Ronnie Shelton, Patsy Walsh, the Langenberg Family, Dee Teague, Leland Lomosad and all TexDOT employees especially Donald J. and David S.
