Mike Cook
Mike Cook, 55 of Waco, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2004 at a local care center.
Services will be 2:30 pm Thursday at OakCrest Funeral Home with Mike's uncle, Ed Wiese, and Rev. Steven Daywit officiating. Burial will be in Waco Memorial Park - North.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at OakCrest, 4520 Bosque.
Mike was born May 29, 1948 in Waco to Clarence and Bonnie (Paul) Cook. He was a loving father and grandfather as well as a devoted son, brother, and uncle.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Cook and a brother, Keith Cook.
His survivors include daughter, Shauna; son, Mikey; granddaughter, Shalise Cook of Florida; Mother, Bonnie Cook; Sister, Karen Gauer, of Waco, and brother, Kenneth of California, and a "special" friend, James Streeter of Waco.
Mike has been a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Waco since 1960. He has devoted his life to God. All that knew him loved him.
