Always in my heart
Saying goodbye is never easy
Actually it's the hardest thing to do
But what hurts even more
I never got a chance to say it to you.
I know you still are with me
Your love is within my heart
Though life was never present
Our souls will never part.
So I offer this poem in honor
Of all that we could have shared
I just want you to know, grandson,
How much your grandmother cared.
With all my love,
Granny
