Mildred Gilbert Robinson, 90, of Waco, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2005 at her residence.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Drew Wilson and Monsignor Mark Deering officiating. Charlie Birch will be the soloist.
Visitation with her family will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque.
Mildred was born May 31, 1915 in Cotton Gin, Texas to Frank and Edna (Brixey) Gilbert. She married Frank Robinson in 1934, and they moved to Waco in 1943. She was a sales person at Cinderella Dress Shop for 30 years, and was a member of Park Lake Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband in 1973.
She was a gracious, loving person who doted over her family and friends, and had a special love for animals. She will be missed by her family who loved her dearly.
She leaves a son, Ron Robinson of Waco; daughter, Beverly Sharp and husband, Ed of Waco; brother, Frank Gilbert and wife, Margaret of Aurora, Col.; two grandchildren, Brian E. Sharp of Fort Worth and Suzanne Martinez and husband, Angel of Arlington, and their daughter, Allyson Martinez; cousin, Sadie Jo Black of Waco, and many friends.
The family thanks her caregivers, Gladys Simmons and Darlene Cashaw, and Providence Hospice.
