Mildred Zellmer

Mildred R. Zellmer, age 85, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017, in Waco. Services will be held 12 noon, Saturday, March 11, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque, Waco, Texas, 76710. The Rev. Amos Humphries of Park Lake Drive Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. There will be no visitation.

Mildred was born to Leo Courtade and Ruby (O’Neal) Courtade on a family farm near Mart, Texas in 1931. She lived the majority of her life in Waco.

She was proceeded in death by her husband of 60 years, Chris H. Zellmer; her daughter, Shera Arriola; and her son, Michael Carey.

She is survived by her son, Dale Zellmer and son-in-law, Ines Arriola, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
