Millie Rippen

Our precious mother, Millie Roma Rippen, 90 years old, of China Springs, Texas, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Providence Hospice Place in Waco, Texas.

She was born January 26, 1927 in New Braunfels, Texas to William Hansmann and Natalia Timmermann Hansmann. She was a devoted wife and mother who cherished her family and loved taking care of them. Millie was a longtime skilled seamstress who loved to sew and work creatively with all kinds of materials. She also loved all sorts of flowers.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the historic Comal City Cemetery in New Braunfels, Texas.

She will be buried next to her husband, Gustav Fredrick Rippen.
