Minnie Maxwell

Minnie Olene Maxwell, 93, of Waco, Texas, passed away Friday, April 15, 2016. Services will be Monday, April, 18. 2016 at 10 AM at Oakcrest Funeral Home with Pastor Dr. Craig Klempnauer, Th.D. officiating. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery, Gatesville, Texas. Visitation will be Sunday, 5 PM to 7 PM at the funeral home.

Mrs. Maxwell was born in Arnett, Texas, to Ernest and Addie Mae (Herring) Vannoy, on December 12, 1922. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and a wonderful friend to all. She completed all her studies and graduated from high school. On March 11, 1948, she married the love of her life, R. L. Maxwell. They are faithfull members of Grace Temple Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and younger brother, Ernest, Jr.

She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, R. L.; daughters, Dedra Maxwell Turner and Melissa Kay Maxwell both of Waco, Texas; son, Ronald Lee Maxwell and wife Karen of Waxahachie, Texas; and grandchildren, Darren Turner, David Maxwell and Kristen Turner.
